I can't get enough of the cover of this box - although it does seem a bit prequel trilogy focused... No matter - that Santa Yoda will be mine! Even if I have to freeze him in Carbonite! Winter is a good time for freezing, anyway! (Yes, I am aware we are still 20 days away from it really being winter...)
Here is the interior of the box - it's like we are inside a space station, looking out at a giant space battle! Aw, look how cute that Death Star is, all wrapped in a bow!

Ooh, a Republican Gunship - what was it I was saying about this seeming prequel trilogy focused? Ah well, it's only day 1, can't be too biased!
Here we have the many pieces of the gunship - now I must use the LEGO Force to assemble them!
Ah, the Force was strong with me this morning!
Sadly, my phone was running low on batteries, so I had no flash for this one - as I said in the post for City Day 1, I need a better lighting set up!
The Star Wars Day 1 also came with a fold out poster, this one in portrait orientation! Oooo, portrait!
